Phase N/A

IMPACT is a study to help new mothers get better care after giving birth. It focuses on women who might not have easy access to healthcare. The study compares two ways to give postpartum care:

  • Intensive Model: Combines in-person education with virtual lessons through messages sent to a web portal.
  • Telehealth Model: Uses online health visits to provide care.

Both methods include home visits. The goal is to see which method helps new mothers get diagnosed and treated faster for any complications within 6 weeks after leaving the hospital. The study will involve 3,500 women, and participants will be followed for one year after childbirth.

Key Points:

  • Study lasts for one year and involves several follow-ups.
  • Participants must be postpartum women who gave birth at specific hospitals.
  • Participants may receive help through education or telehealth visits.
