Phase N/A

This study is about helping people who have finished outpatient treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD). It's testing a web-based program called "Renewed Recovery" that follows Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, or MBRP. This program uses mindfulness, a type of meditation that helps people stay in the present moment to prevent going back to drinking. The study includes creating a website and testing it with people who have been in treatment more than once to see how helpful and easy to use it is.

Participants will use this program for 8 weeks, with one lesson each week. They'll learn through a mix of videos and texts, and they'll also have two group meditation sessions over Zoom.

  • The study lasts 8 weeks with weekly activities.
  • Participants need internet access to join the web-based program.
  • Participants will help shape the program by sharing feedback.

Eligible participants must be 18 or older, have internet access, and recently finished outpatient treatment for alcohol use. They should not have severe mental health conditions like psychosis or dementia.
