Phase 3

This study tests a new treatment called lutetium (177Lu) vipivotide tetraxetan (AAA617) for a type of prostate cancer known as oligometastatic prostate cancer (OMPC). This means the cancer has spread to a few places but not too many. The study aims to see if this treatment can safely and effectively control the cancer from getting worse. The treatment might help delay the need for another treatment called androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), which can have side effects and lower quality of life.

Participants will have special scans to check their cancer, and some will get radiation therapy before the actual treatment. The study lasts a long time, about 7.5 years, and involves several visits, especially in the beginning.

  • Length of Study: Approximately 7.5 years.
  • Visits Needed: Every week for certain cycles, then every 16 weeks.
  • Treatment and Risks: Some will receive the study drug, others will just be observed. There are risks with new treatments, so consider this before joining.
