**Study Overview**
This study compares two types of eye lenses used in cataract surgery: the Clareon PanOptix intraocular lens (IOL) and a similar multifocal IOL. **Intraocular lenses** are artificial lenses placed in the eye to improve vision after cataract removal. **Cataracts** are cloudy areas in the lens of the eye that can blur vision. The study has two phases: one looking back at past surgeries and one comparing the two lenses in new surgeries.
**Eligibility**
You can join if you are an adult with cataracts in both eyes and need surgery. You must have normal eye health, aside from cataracts, and be able to consent to the study. You cannot participate if you have other eye problems or have had previous eye surgeries.
**Key Points**
- The study involves multiple visits over 2.5 to 5 months after lens implantation.
- Participation requires good vision expected in both eyes after surgery.
- Exclusions include any severe eye conditions or participation in other studies.
