Phase 2

This study is testing a new drug called **JNJ-90301900** to see if it helps treat **non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)** better when used with standard treatment. NSCLC is a type of lung cancer that is not easy to remove with surgery. The standard treatment includes chemotherapy (using drugs to kill cancer cells) and radiation therapy (using high energy rays to kill cancer cells). After this, patients usually get another treatment called **consolidation immunotherapy (cIT)**, which helps the immune system fight cancer.

The researchers want to find out if adding JNJ-90301900 can improve the **objective response rate (ORR)**, which measures how well the cancer responds to treatment.

  • The study requires participants to have stage III NSCLC that cannot be surgically removed.
  • Participants must have a good general health status with an ECOG performance status of 0 to 1, meaning they can carry out daily activities.
  • Participants should not have certain health conditions like heart problems or immune system issues.

Learn more about clinical trials

What is a clinical trial?

A clinical trial is a study designed to test specific interventions or treatments' effectiveness and safety, paving the way for new, innovative healthcare solutions.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?

Clinical trials follow strict ethical guidelines and protocols to safeguard participants' health. They are closely monitored and safety reviewed regularly.
