Phase 3

This study tests if a new treatment, KarXT + KarX-EC, can help with memory and thinking problems in people with Alzheimer's Disease (AD). Alzheimer's is a disease that affects the brain and causes memory loss. The study will check if this treatment is safe and works well.

  • The study is for people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's. They need a caregiver who can help and attend visits.
  • Participants must continue their current medications for memory problems if they are already taking them.
  • People with serious health issues or mental health conditions cannot join.

To join, participants should be in certain stages of Alzheimer's. Their memory will be tested with a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score between 12 and 22. A caregiver must spend about 10 hours a week with them. People with serious health issues or other mental illnesses, or who have had specific brain treatments recently, are not eligible. This study aims to ensure participant safety and accurate results.
