This study is testing a new medicine called EYP-1901 for people with wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration (wAMD). wAMD is an eye condition that can make it hard to see things clearly. The study compares EYP-1901 with another treatment called Aflibercept, to see which works better. This is called a phase 3 study, meaning it is a late stage in testing the medicine.
Key Points:- This study lasts for 2 years, with the main results checked at 56 weeks.
- You might need to visit the study site for check-ups and treatments.
- Participants must have previously received treatments for wAMD or be new to treatments.
You can join if you've had wAMD before or are experiencing it now. Your vision should be between certain levels (20/32 to 20/200) according to the BCVA test, which measures eyesight quality. However, if there's too much damage in the eye, you cannot join. The study helps us learn more about treating wAMD, which could improve vision for many people.
