Phase 2

Study Purpose: This study tests a new medicine, IMVT-1402, for adults with Graves' Disease (GD). GD is a condition that affects the thyroid gland, making it work too hard. Despite taking antithyroid drugs (ATD), some people remain hyperthyroid, meaning their thyroid is still too active. This study checks if IMVT-1402 can help them.

Important Terms: Placebo-controlled: Some participants will get a placebo, which looks like the medicine but doesn't have the active ingredient, to compare results. Double-blind: Neither the participants nor the researchers know who gets the medicine or placebo, which helps ensure fair results.

  • This is a Phase 2b study, meaning it's in the early stages of testing the medicine's effectiveness and safety.
  • Participants must be 18 or older and diagnosed with GD that isn't controlled by ATD.
  • Exclusions include prior radioactive iodine treatment or having other autoimmune diseases.

Consider joining if you're struggling with GD despite treatment, but check with your doctor first. Always read the entire study details and eligibility carefully before deciding.
