The ReMATCH Study is researching a new treatment for people with persistent atrial fibrillation (PersAF), a condition causing an irregular heartbeat. The study uses FARAWAVE™ and FARAPOINT™ catheters, which are special tubes that help doctors treat the heart using a technique called pulsed field ablation (PFA). This is for patients who have already had one procedure that didn't work well enough. To join, you must be 18 or older and have had a previous AF ablation. You should show signs of AF returning at least 60 days after your first treatment.
Key Points:- The study includes multiple visits over a period of time.
- Participants must be willing to attend all follow-up appointments.
- Those with certain heart conditions or other health issues may not be eligible.
This study helps us understand if this new treatment is safe and effective. If interested, ensure you meet the study's health requirements and can commit to the necessary follow-up visits.
