Phase N/A
**Study Overview:** This study compares two treatments for people who had a stroke and already had some disability before the stroke. A stroke happens when blood flow to the brain is blocked. People with a *disability* might not have been part of earlier tests for *Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT)*, a procedure to remove clots from large brain vessels. This study will test EVT against another way called *Multimodal Medical Management (MMM)*, which uses medicines and therapy without EVT. **Key Points:** - **Duration and Visits:** This study takes place at 12 stroke centers. - **Participants:** Adults with a previous moderate-to-severe disability and a recent stroke can join. - **Risks and Benefits:** It will compare which treatment is safer and more effective. **Eligibility:** You must be 18 years or older and have had a stroke with previous disability. You should arrive at the hospital within 24 hours of the stroke. Some people with terminal illnesses or temporary disabilities may not be eligible. Participants or their representatives must give consent to join the study.

Consider joining if you meet eligibility and want to contribute to valuable stroke research.
