QUELIMMUNE is a treatment approved by the FDA, which stands for the Food and Drug Administration. It's for kids and young adults (22 years old or younger) who have AKI, or Acute Kidney Injury, because of sepsis, an infection in the body, and are getting RRT, or Renal Replacement Therapy, which helps the kidneys work. This study looks at how safe QUELIMMUNE is by collecting data on patients treated with it. The researchers want to see if there are any new infections in the blood within 28 days of starting this treatment compared to those who didn't get QUELIMMUNE.
Key Points to Consider:
- Study is for patients aged 22 years or younger and weigh 10 kg or more.
- Researchers will track patients for the first 28 days after treatment starts.
- Cannot participate if allergic to any part of QUELIMMUNE.
