Phase N/A

This study is exploring how different ways of delivering voice therapy can help people with voice problems. Voice problems can make it hard to talk and cause pain or tiredness in the throat. Two common issues are **Muscle Tension Dysphonia (MTD)**, where throat muscles are too tight, and **benign vocal fold lesions**, like nodules from overuse. About 23 million Americans have voice problems at any time. Traditional therapy starts with simple exercises, but many people struggle to use these techniques in real life. This study tests a new method, **Conversation Training Therapy (CTT)**, which starts with real conversations. CTT might help people use new skills faster and more effectively in their daily lives, improving their quality of life.

  • The study will last for 12 months and compare CTT to traditional methods.
  • Participants must not have had voice therapy or surgery in the past year.
  • Participants need to attend all sessions and use a smartphone for practice.
