Coherent Sine Burst Electroporation (CSE) Ablation System US IDE Study for Patients With Atrial Fibrillation

Study on CSE Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation Patients.

Phase N/A

The study is testing a new treatment, the Argá Medtech CSE Ablation System, for people with atrial fibrillation (AF), a condition where the heart beats irregularly. The treatment uses a technique called Coherent Sine Burst Electroporation (CSE), which is a process that disrupts heart tissue to help it beat normally.

Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is a heart condition causing a fast and irregular heartbeat. Symptomatic paroxysmal AF means AF comes and goes, lasting less than 7 days, while persistent AF lasts more than 7 days but less than a year.

  • Key Point 1: The study requires multiple visits for evaluations and monitoring over a long period.
  • Key Point 2: Participants must be between 18 and 80 years old and have tried at least one medication that didn’t work.
  • Key Point 3: Participants must not have certain health issues, like heart or kidney problems, or be pregnant.

Participants need to be willing to commit to the study, which includes follow-up visits and monitoring. Discuss with your doctor to see if this is a good option for you.
