This study compares two treatments for a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has a specific mutation in the EGFR gene. It focuses on patients who have already tried a treatment called EGFR TKI therapy, which stands for Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor, but it didn't work. Patients will either receive a new drug called Izalontamab Brengitecan or a combination of medicines called Platinum-Pemetrexed.
To join, patients must have a specific type of lung cancer that can't be treated with surgery or radiation. They must have tried and failed a certain type of medication for their cancer. If they have certain health issues, like weak organs or specific kinds of cancer spread, they can't participate.
