This study is testing a new medicine called brenipatide to see if it helps people who have quit smoking from starting again. Brenipatide will be compared to a placebo, which is a "fake" treatment that looks the same but doesn't have the medicine. The whole study lasts about 34 weeks and includes 17 visits to the study site. There is a 2-week screening period to see if you're eligible, a 24-week treatment period where you might take brenipatide or placebo, and an 8-week follow-up to check your health after treatment.
- Participation lasts about 34 weeks with 17 visits.
- You may need to inject the study medicine yourself.
- The study checks if you have certain health conditions or risks before you can join.
