Project ImPACT is a program designed to help children with autism improve their communication skills. This study is looking at two different ways to train Early Intervention (EI) providers in Georgia to use Project ImPACT. The goal is to find out which training method works better for teaching these providers. EI providers are people who help young children with special needs.
Caregivers of children under 36 months receiving services through Georgia's EI system can participate. They will either fill out surveys before and after using Project ImPACT or just one survey after. These surveys will take about 20-30 minutes each, and all activities occur at the Marcus Autism Center.
- Study takes place at Marcus Autism Center.
- Surveys are 20-30 minutes long.
- Participation is part of routine EI services.
To join, caregivers must have a child in Georgia's EI program and speak English. Providers need to be currently working with Georgia's EI system, have active caseloads, and also speak English. Those not meeting these criteria cannot participate.
