Study Overview: This study is testing a new medicine called FG-3246 for men with a type of prostate cancer that has spread and does not respond to regular hormone treatment. The drug is a special kind of medicine called an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that specifically targets cancer cells.
Eligibility: To join, participants must have prostate cancer that’s spread and has not been treated with taxane therapy. They should have tried one other cancer drug before, but not more than one. Participants must also have a cancerous lesion that can be seen on scans and agree to a biopsy.
- Participants will need to provide a biopsy (a small piece of tissue) for testing.
- Participants cannot join if they have had certain types of cancer treatment recently.
- This study might involve some risks, like side effects from the medication.
Considerations: Think about the time commitment this study requires and any potential risks or side effects from the medication. You should also consider whether you have access to the necessary transportation for study visits. Always talk to your doctor before joining a study.
