This study is about using a special digital system to help doctors place a type of lens called a toric intraocular lens (IOL) during eye surgery for cataracts. Cataracts are when the eye's lens becomes cloudy, and an IOL is a new lens put in during surgery. The toric IOL helps with astigmatism, which is when the eye isn't perfectly round, causing blurry vision.

The study checks if the digital system can correctly line up the toric IOL in the eye and how long it takes to start using the guidance system. It also looks at how well people see a month after surgery. The study involves 100 eyes and is done by one surgeon at one place. Participants must be having cataract surgery with a toric IOL and not have other eye problems that could affect surgery results.

  • The study is observational, meaning no extra treatment is given beyond standard care.
  • Participants are checked 1 month after surgery to see results.
  • No extra visits or compensation is mentioned.
