The Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT) National Registry is a study to understand the safety and effectiveness of FMT. FMT is a procedure where healthy bacteria from a donor's stool are transplanted to a patient's gut to help with certain conditions. This study will track 4,000 people who get FMT at 75 locations across North America. It will collect information about the process and track patients for up to 10 years to see how they do. Patients will have regular check-ups at 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years, and then yearly check-ins for up to 10 years.
- Participants must be able to give informed consent and access the internet or phone.
- Donors will provide a stool sample for the procedure.
- People in jail cannot participate.
