Phase 3

Beamion LUNG-3 is a study looking at a treatment called zongertinib for people with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study is for adults who have had surgery to remove their cancer and have specific changes in a gene called HER2. The main goal is to see if zongertinib helps people live longer without the cancer coming back, compared to the usual treatments given after surgery.

Participants will either receive zongertinib, which is a pill taken once a day for up to 3 years, or the standard treatment, which may include immunotherapy or just being observed. The study will also look at how safe zongertinib is and how it affects people's quality of life.

  • Study Length: Up to 3 years of treatment.
  • Participation: Random assignment to either zongertinib or standard treatment.
  • Eligibility: Must have had surgery to remove cancer and specific gene changes.
