Phase 3

Study Overview: This research is testing how safe and effective a new eye drop called DFL24498 is for people with AKC, which stands for Atopic Keratoconjunctivitis. AKC is an eye condition often linked to allergies. The study will compare this eye drop to a placebo, which looks like the real treatment but doesn’t have any medicine in it. About 138 people will take part in this study.

Study Phases:

  • Screening: This is when doctors check if you can join the study (up to 7 days before starting).
  • Treatment: Participants will be given the eye drops for 12 weeks.
  • Follow-up: After treatment, doctors will check on participants for 4 more weeks.
  • Participants will be ages 18-65 and must have been diagnosed with AKC in both eyes.
  • Participants need to visit the study site multiple times over 16 weeks.
  • Women who can have babies need a negative pregnancy test and safe birth control.

If you have any active eye infections or other serious health issues, you may not be able to join. Always discuss with your doctor before joining any study.
