Phase 1

This study is for adults with certain cancers and liver or kidney problems. It tests a medicine called ivosidenib. This medicine blocks an enzyme that is often changed in cancer cells. The study checks how the body processes the drug (this is called PK or pharmacokinetics), how it works in the body (called PD or pharmacodynamics), and how safe it is for different people.

Participants are sorted into five groups based on their liver and kidney health. They will need to visit the study site several times during the first month, and then less frequently. Each study cycle is 28 days long, and visits may include blood tests, heart tests, check-ups, and more.

  • Study lasts at least 2 months with regular visits.
  • Participants have cancer with specific gene changes.
  • Women must use two forms of birth control.

This study could help find better treatments for people with these conditions, but it's important to consider the time commitment and requirements before joining.
