Phase 3

Pelacarsen Roll-over Extension Program is a study for people who have already finished another study with pelacarsen, a medicine used to help with high Lp(a) levels and a heart condition known as ASCVD. Lp(a) is a type of cholesterol that can cause heart problems. ASCVD stands for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, which is a condition where blood vessels get narrowed or blocked. In this new study, participants will receive 80 mg of pelacarsen once a month to see if it is safe and if people can handle taking it over a long time. Everyone in the study will know they are getting the medicine because it's an "open label" study.

  • This study is only for people who finished a previous study with pelacarsen and were able to handle the medicine.
  • Participants must not have had bad reactions to pelacarsen before or be taking another experimental medicine.
  • The study will provide the medicine for free, but it is not clear if there will be any other compensation.
