This study is testing a new way to help adults with a heart problem called Atrial Fibrillation (AF). AF is when the heart beats in an irregular way. The trial is looking at a new tool, called the Vektor Computational ECG Mapping System (vMap®), that helps doctors find the best spots to fix in the heart. Some people in the study will get just the usual treatment, called Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PVI), and others will get both PVI and the new vMap® tool.
Key Points:
- The study will last until the treatment and follow-up visits are completed.
- Participants have a 50% chance of getting the new treatment with vMap®.
- You need to be at least 22 years old and have specific types of AF.
It's important for participants to be able to follow the study rules and have a good quality ECG, which is a test that measures the heart's electrical activity. Some people, like those with other heart problems or who are pregnant, can't join the study.
