Phase 2

This study is for patients with glomerular kidney diseases, which affect the tiny filters in your kidneys. It includes conditions like diabetic nephropathy and other rare kidney diseases. The study is randomized (participants are randomly assigned to groups), double-blind (neither the patients nor the doctors know who is getting the real medicine or a placebo - a harmless pill or liquid with no active ingredient), and placebo-controlled (compares a new treatment against a placebo to see if the treatment works). The drug being tested is WAL0921, given through an IV (intravenous infusion) every two weeks, totaling 7 times. Afterward, participants are monitored for 24 weeks.

  • Study duration: 24 weeks post-treatment.
  • Eligibility: Adults 18-75 with specific kidney diseases.
  • Exclusions: Pregnancy, organ transplants, recent kidney issues.

This study helps understand if WAL0921 is safe and effective for kidney diseases. If interested, ensure you meet the requirements and consider the time commitment involved.
