Phase 2

This study is designed to find the best personalized treatments for patients with extensive stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) using biomarker tests. Biomarkers are features in cancer cells that help doctors decide the best treatment. Patients are grouped based on their cancer type and specific biomarker results. The study tests different drugs such as durvalumab, saruparib, ceralasertib, and monalizumab for maintenance treatment, which is given after initial treatment to keep cancer under control. Durvalumab and monalizumab are immunotherapy drugs that help the immune system fight cancer. Saruparib is a PARP inhibitor that stops cancer cells from fixing their DNA, and ceralasertib blocks enzymes needed for tumor growth.

  • The study lasts for several years, with follow-ups up to 3 years after treatment.
  • Participants need to undergo regular scans and tissue sample collections.
  • No previous exposure to certain cancer drugs is allowed for participation.

Learn more about clinical trials

What is a clinical trial?

A clinical trial is a study designed to test specific interventions or treatments' effectiveness and safety, paving the way for new, innovative healthcare solutions.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
