IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) is a kidney disease where the immune system deposits a protein called IgA in the kidneys, causing damage. This study checks how a new treatment, zigakibart, affects this disease. Participants will be split into two groups to see the effects after one year or two years. The study lasts up to 125 weeks, including screening, treatment, and follow-up.
Key Points:
- Duration & Visits: The study lasts about 2.5 years with regular check-ups.
- Eligibility: You need to have a specific type of kidney disease and meet certain health criteria.
- Risks: There may be risks, but the study includes a safety follow-up to monitor health.
Participants must have primary IgAN confirmed by a kidney biopsy and certain protein levels in their urine. They should not have other kidney issues or be on specific treatments. The aim is to discover if zigakibart can help slow down the progression of IgAN. This could potentially offer new hope for managing this condition better.
