Phase 2/3

Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a skin condition that causes painful lumps under the skin. This study tests a new medicine called BFB759 to see if it helps people with moderate to severe forms of this condition. In the study, some people will get BFB759, and others will get a placebo (a harmless pill that doesn't contain the medicine) to compare the effects.

The study lasts about 36 to 40 weeks, which is almost 9 months, and participants will need to go to regular doctor visits. To join, you must be between 18 and 75 years old, have had this condition for at least a year, and it should not be well-controlled by regular antibiotics. You should also be willing to follow all study rules. If you have certain infections, immune problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, you cannot join.

  • Participation lasts up to about 9 months.
  • Regular doctor visits are required.
  • Must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

This study aims to find out if BFB759 is safe and effective for treating hidradenitis suppurativa.
