Parkinson's disease (PD) is a brain disorder that makes it hard to control movements. People with PD often have trouble moving their hands and keeping their balance. **Motor Imagery (MI)** is a type of mental exercise where you imagine moving your body without actually doing it. This study wants to see if MI can help people with PD improve their walking and balance.
Eligibility: People aged 40-75 with PD can join if they meet certain health criteria. They must not have other serious health issues like psychiatric illnesses or take certain medications.
- **Study Duration:** The program includes 20 sessions over 3 months.
- **Participation Requirements:** Suitable for those with PD who are not on specific medications or have other serious health conditions.
- **Benefits and Risks:** Participants may see improvements in balance and walking, but the study is limited in how many people it can help. There are no major risks listed.
This study will help us learn if imagining movements can help improve real-life movement in people with PD. If you're eligible, you might find it beneficial to join and see if MI training can help your balance and walking.
