Phase N/A

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a condition affecting the brain, and it is common in Sweden. People with PD often struggle with moving around and staying independent. This study focuses on how physical activity (PA) can help people with PD stay active and healthy. The ActivPARK study aims to understand how PA changes over time for people with PD, and how it can be improved with special exercises and health plans tailored to each person.

The study is being planned by a team of experts, including doctors, researchers, and people with PD. They want to make sure the study answers important questions about how PA can be a part of caring for someone with PD. The study will start with a small test to see if their ideas work, and then they will do a bigger study later on.

  • Duration: The study is long-term and will be conducted over many years to track changes.
  • Visits: Participants may need to attend multiple sessions as part of the study.
  • Eligibility: Must have PD with mild to severe symptoms.
