**Effect of Adding Computerized Cognitive Training on Balance, Locomotion and Cognition in Parkinson's Disease** This study looks at how special computer games, called cognitive training, can help Parkinson's disease (PD) patients with balance, walking, and thinking skills. Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that affects movement, causing problems like shaking, stiffness, and balance difficulties. The study involves 68 patients, aged 55 to 70, from Cairo University. They were divided into two groups. One group, called the control group, receives regular physical therapy like treadmill walking and stretching. The other group gets both physical therapy and computer-based brain exercises using software called REHACOM. *These brain exercises focus on attention, memory, and response control.* Each session lasts 60 minutes, with three sessions per week for two months. **Key Points:** - The study lasts for two months with 24 total sessions. - Participants will have to attend therapy three times a week. - The study aims to improve balance, walking, and thinking abilities in PD patients. The study excludes those with other health problems or who cannot participate in testing. This study might help patients manage their symptoms better.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
