This study in Italy will test if a new group-based program helps people with Parkinson's disease manage fatigue better than just getting information. Parkinson's disease is a condition affecting the brain that can cause tiredness, or fatigue. The program is called the Packer Managing Fatigue Program and includes group sessions led by a therapist. It focuses on teaching ways to save energy and manage tiredness through discussions on rest, communication, and goal setting. The study involves 74 participants, split into two groups: one attending the program and the other receiving fact sheets on Parkinson's disease.

  • **Length**: 6 weeks of sessions, with follow-ups 3 months later.
  • **Location**: Conducted in Genoa, Italy.
  • **Participation**: Participants need to attend group sessions or receive information sheets.

Participants must be adults diagnosed with Parkinson's, fluent in Italian, and meet specific health criteria. Those with severe mental conditions or who can't join group sessions are excluded. The aim is to see if the program improves self-efficacy, which means feeling confident in managing one's energy.
