This study is looking at the safety of a new drug called LBT-3627. It includes two parts: one with a single dose and one with multiple doses. It will involve healthy people and those with Parkinson's Disease, a disorder affecting movement.
Phase Ia starts with healthy volunteers, then moves to Parkinson’s patients. Phase Ib involves only Parkinson's patients with multiple doses. They will test how the body handles the drug and its effects.
To take part, you need to be between 30-89 years old, have a healthy body weight, and normal heart and safety tests. Women must not be able to have children or use strong birth control. You can't have had recent vaccines, certain medicines, or serious illnesses.
- The study includes different groups with increasing doses.
- Participants must meet specific health criteria.
- The study involves both single and multiple dose phases.
There's a focus on safety throughout. If you have Parkinson's, you need a diagnosis from a doctor. You'll need to manage your current medication carefully during the study.
