Phase N/A

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a brain disorder affecting movement. People often experience slow movements, shaking, and stiffness. This study explores mental imagery (MI), which means imagining moving your muscles without actually moving them, to help improve hand and arm skills in people with PD. MI is a type of therapy that can help people with different brain and nerve issues get better at moving. In this study, researchers will look at how MI helps people with PD plan and start movements better.

  • Length and Participation: The study investigates the immediate effects of MI on movement skills.
  • Eligibility: Participants should be 40-75 years old and diagnosed with PD without other major health issues.
  • Exclusions: People with psychiatric illnesses, taking certain medications, or with other hand/arm issues can't join.
