This study focuses on people with mild to moderate Parkinson's disease, which affects movement and can lead to tremors and stiffness. The researchers are using a tool called video-oculography to study eye movements over seven years. They want to see how eye movements change, how these changes relate to other Parkinson's symptoms, and how medications for Parkinson's affect eye movements. Oculomotricity refers to how well the eyes can move and track objects. This study will help us understand if eye movement tests can show how Parkinson's disease is progressing.
- Length of Study: 7 years
- Eligibility: Must have a diagnosis of Parkinson's, recent brain imaging, and speak French
- Participation: Requires regular follow-ups and consent
Participants must have mild symptoms and not have other major brain or psychiatric disorders. The study requires a caregiver's presence and is open to those with slight eye movement impairments. Being part of this study can help doctors learn more about Parkinson's and improve future treatments.
