Phase N/A

This study is creating an online program to help people with Parkinson's disease (PD) in Qatar get more exercise. Regular exercise helps people with PD feel better and live healthier lives. But, many people with PD don't exercise enough because they face challenges. This project will develop "Engage-Qatar PD," an online program to teach and support people with PD to manage their exercise. The program will be based on a similar program used for Huntington's disease, called Engage HD. The study will involve people in designing the program to make sure it fits well with their culture. After developing the program, a small test study will be conducted to see how well it works and if people like it. If successful, this program could be used in healthcare and in other countries nearby.

  • The study is for adults over 18 with Parkinson's disease who can move around on their own.
  • Participants must have a doctor's approval or pass a fitness questionnaire.
  • People with other neurological conditions or certain injuries cannot join.
