Phase N/A

Biomarkers in Parkinsonian Syndromes is a study to find signs in the body, called biomarkers, that could help diagnose Parkinson's disease early. Parkinson's disease affects the brain and causes symptoms like shaking and stiffness. The study will follow patients with early signs of Parkinson's for at least 5 years to gather important data through imaging (like MRI scans) and other tests.

Eligibility: To join, you must agree to the study's rules in writing, have early-stage Parkinson's (less than 2 years or more than 2 years), or be a healthy person without brain diseases. You cannot join if your Parkinson's is caused by drugs or other diseases, if you have serious brain lesions found by MRI, or if you have other serious illnesses that may limit life to less than 5 years. Also, you cannot join if you are part of another clinical trial.

  • The study will last for at least 5 years.
  • Participants will undergo imaging and clinical tests.
  • No active involvement in other clinical trials is allowed.
