Parkinson's disease (PD) is a condition that affects the brain and causes problems with movement, like walking and balance issues. Traditional physical therapy helps, but not always completely. This study tests Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation (RAS), which uses sounds to help people walk better. The research will compare two groups: one will have regular physical therapy, and the other will have both regular therapy and music-based RAS. Each group will meet three times a week for eight weeks.
Key Points:
- The study lasts for 8 weeks with 24 sessions in total.
- Participants will receive either just physical therapy or physical therapy plus music therapy.
- The goal is to see if music therapy helps improve walking and balance more than regular therapy alone.
Only individuals aged 45-55 with mild balance issues and without severe cognitive problems can join. People with other serious health conditions or who have had music therapy in the last 3 months cannot participate.
