Phase N/A

This study is checking if taking Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) capsules can help with constipation in people with Parkinson's Disease (PD). Constipation means having trouble with bowel movements. In the study, participants will get either FMT capsules or placebo capsules. Placebo capsules look and smell the same but only have milk powder inside.

Participants will take 6 FMT capsules twice a week for 24 weeks. During this time, they will visit the doctor to see if their constipation and quality of life improve. Doctors will also collect poop samples for some special tests and check blood for a medicine called levodopa that helps with Parkinson’s.

  • Participation lasts for 24 weeks with regular doctor visits.
  • Participants may receive FMT or placebo capsules.
  • Fecal and blood samples will be collected for testing.
