This study tests a device called ECHS, which uses **pulsed electromagnetic fields** (PEMF) to help people with mild to moderate **dementia**. Dementia is a condition that affects memory and thinking, and it includes Alzheimer's disease and other types like Lewy body and vascular dementia.
Participants will use the device at home, three times a day for 15 minutes, over 120 days. The main goal is to see if the device helps improve scores on a memory test called **Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive Subscale**. After treatment, participants will be checked for 9 more months.
- **Study Duration**: Lasts for about 4 months, plus follow-up for 9 months.
- **Participant Criteria**: Must be 50 years or older, have mild to moderate dementia, and be able to consent or have a family member to do so.
- **Exclusions**: Cannot join if you have epilepsy, certain psychiatric conditions, or metal implants in the head.
This study helps researchers learn if PEMF can slow down dementia. Participants should be willing to follow the study schedule and requirements.
