Parkinson's Foundation PD GENEration Genetic Registry

Join our Parkinson's Foundation study to explore genetic links.

Recruiting
18 years and older
All
Phase N/A

This study is about collecting genetic data from people with Parkinson's Disease (PD). The goal is to create a big resource of genetic information to help with future research. People who join the study will have their DNA tested. DNA is like a map of your genes, which are instructions for how your body works. The study will focus on genes linked to PD, like GBA and LRRK2. To join, you need a likely PD diagnosis, be willing to learn your genetic results, and be able to complete surveys. Family members might be asked to join if more testing is needed. However, if you have other conditions similar to PD, are under 18, or have certain medical issues, you can't join.

  • The study is open for people with Parkinson’s Disease.
  • Participants must agree to genetic testing and receive their results.
  • Surveys can be done online, in-person, or on paper.

Note: This study is looking to help future research on Parkinson’s Disease by using genetic data.
