Phase N/A

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a brain disorder that affects movement. In some families, it runs in the family, called Familial Parkinson's disease (FPD). This study wants to make a list of people with FPD in China to learn more about it. The study will look at clinical features (symptoms and signs) using tools like the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) and other scales to understand different symptoms like sleep issues and depression. Blood samples will be taken to study genetic factors, and questions about lifestyle habits like smoking and drinking will be asked to learn about environmental influences.

  • The study involves taking blood samples and answering questions.
  • Participants must have PD with a family history or have parents who are close relatives with PD.
  • Participants who cannot give consent are not eligible.
