The study looks at how Parkinson's disease affects breathing and fitness. Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that causes shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking and balance. We will check how strong the breathing muscles are using a device called PowerBreath K5. We will also test lung function with a Pulmonary Function Test and assess fitness with the Senior Fitness Test. People aged 50-80 with Parkinson's are part of this study, as well as healthy people of similar ages. The Modified Hoehn and Yahr Scale helps us understand how serious the disease is. The Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale measures how the disease affects daily life.
- Study includes people aged 50-80, with a good mental state (MMSE score 24-30).
- Tests are non-invasive, like breathing into devices and simple fitness checks.
- Excludes individuals with severe disabilities, communication issues, or heart failure risks.
