Parkinson's disease (PD) is a long-lasting illness that affects the brain, causing movement problems like shaky hands, trouble walking, and memory issues. This study looks at a special exercise called High-Intensity Functional Training (HIFT). HIFT is a type of workout that mixes different exercises to help people move better and think clearer. The study aims to see if HIFT helps people with Parkinson's more than regular exercise programs.
Who can join? People with Parkinson's aged 45-80, who can walk on their own for 10 minutes, and already do some exercise. Those who have serious health issues, balance problems, or have recently had surgery cannot participate.
- The study will check if HIFT makes it easier for participants to do daily activities and improves their thinking skills.
- Researchers want to see if HIFT reduces falls and helps participants feel less dependent on others.
- Participants will see if HIFT makes a difference in their overall quality of life.
