Phase N/A

The **Mobilise-D Extension Study** is a research project to see how well a special device, called a mobility monitor, can measure and predict changes in how people with Parkinson's disease (PD) move. It's an **observational study**, meaning researchers watch and collect data without changing anything about the participants' normal routines. This study will also involve people of similar ages who don't have PD to understand aging effects better.

Parkinson's disease (PD): A condition that affects movement, often causing tremors or stiffness.
Mobility Monitor: A device worn on the body that tracks how someone moves.

  • PD participants will have one follow-up visit 36 months after their initial visit in a related study.
  • Control participants (people without PD) will have a starting visit and another visit after 12 months.
  • Participants will wear a sensor for seven days to monitor movement.

People aged 50 or older who can walk independently may join as a control group. They should be available for 12 months and willing to wear a sensor. Some participants will be interviewed about their experiences with PD symptoms and mobility. This study takes place in four countries and includes up to 651 participants.
