PD Frontline is a study to help people with Parkinson's get ready for research trials. It's done online, which means you can join from home. If you decide to participate, you'll first fill out a one-time questionnaire. After that, you'll receive a saliva kit in the mail. You just use the kit and send it back to have your genes tested. The study looks at two genes called GBA1 and LRRK2. These genes can be related to Parkinson's. Once your sample is tested, you'll be told your results and informed about any research studies or trials that you might fit into.
- Participation is online and requires only a one-time questionnaire.
- You'll receive a genetic testing kit to use at home and send back.
- Results will help in identifying more research opportunities.
