Phase 4

This study looks at how safe and effective a medicine called CREXONT is for people with Parkinson's Disease (PD). PD is a brain disorder that causes shaking, stiffness, and trouble with balance. The study focuses on CREXONT, which are extended-release capsules made of two drugs: carbidopa and levodopa. These help manage symptoms by increasing dopamine, a chemical in the brain. Participants need to have PD that fits certain criteria, like predictable times when symptoms get worse, known as "Off" periods, and they should be on a stable dose of PD medication.

  • The study lasts at least 42 days, and participants have to make several visits to the study site.
  • Participants need to keep a daily diary about their symptoms and are trained to recognize their "On" (better) and "Off" (worse) periods.
  • Those who join will be closely monitored, and some may have been in past CREXONT studies.

Before joining, participants must agree in writing and be able to attend all study visits and follow the study rules. There are specific health criteria to join, and some past treatments may exclude participation.
