This study is testing two new imaging drugs, [18F]ABBV-964i and [18F]ABBV-965i. These drugs are used with PET scans, a special type of brain scan, to help doctors see tau protein buildup in the brain. Tau protein buildup is linked to a rare disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), which affects movement and thinking.
The study is checking if these drugs are safe and if they work well for showing tau in the brain. It also looks at how these drugs move in the body and the amount of radiation they produce. This information may help create better tools for diagnosing PSP and understanding its progress.
- Study involves multiple visits for PET scans, blood tests, and an optional MRI scan.
- Participants can be healthy adults or those with PSP, aged 18-80 for healthy volunteers and 40-80 for PSP patients.
- Safety checks include vital signs, blood tests, and heart monitoring.
