This study is looking at how Parkinson's disease (PD) changes over time in 76 patients (38 with early-stage PD and 38 with prodromal PD, which means showing early signs but not full symptoms). They're using a special scan called **[18F]AV-133** to see these changes. **[18F]AV-133** is a radioactive substance used in imaging to track changes in the brain related to PD. Participants will have this scan and other health checks every year for about 27 months.
- Study Length: 27 months, including a 24-month follow-up.
- Visits Needed: Imaging and clinical assessments every 12 months.
- Eligibility: Men or women 30+ with early or prodromal PD. Must not be on PD medication.
To join, you must be diagnosed with early-stage or prodromal PD, be 30 years or older, and not yet taking PD medications. Some tests and scans are needed, and certain medications can't be used during the study. Make sure to ask about any risks or benefits before joining.
