Phase N/A

The PASS-PD study is looking at people who might develop Parkinson's Disease (PD) in the future. PD is a condition that affects how the brain works, leading to problems with movement and possibly other symptoms. This study will track a group of people for five years to see who might be at higher risk of developing PD. Scientists are interested in non-motor symptoms, which are changes that happen before movement problems appear. They want to see if they can predict who might get PD using special biological markers, like changes in the body that can be tested. The study will also make sure that people are told about their risk in a fair way.

  • Study Duration: Five years
  • Age Requirement: Must be between 50 and 99 years old
  • Exclusion: Cannot participate if you already have PD or other serious brain or nerve diseases
